Kale megha, Kale megha.....

I love the rainy season the most….

I guess the reason being my native place which roots back in Kerala, where we do have nearing to 6 months of rain… and when it rains… it just pours and pours which do result in blossoming mother earth.. We can see the proof as the new plants and the greenery that engulf the landscape.

Back in Pune also we do get a decent rainfall… which does start sometime in June and do last mid or end September… usually we do correlate when Ganesh festival is over rain starts to reseed…

Our group used to have great fun every rainy season they still do have (I am not in Pune since last 2 season… I miss) back to the topic… once the rainy season is all set we used to have many trips… visiting Lonavala / Khadakwasla Dam / Mulsi Dam… this are the must place to visit when it do rain…and any one happens to be in Pune.

We started all this trip since we were in college days… back then we used to travel by local train… and once we had our bike then its was fun riding bike in rain…. Getting wet…. Feeling the slight shiver…

And once we are in Lonavala, the cutting chai was of great relief along with bhutta (roasted corn)

Few of the trips which I will not forget….

1. Once we all geared up and went lonavala… Not a single drop of rain happened... we were all depressed and late in the evening when we were getting down back home it started to rain… we still enjoyed…
2. In one such trip we all were travelling by train… and when we reached lonavala out of shear excitement Akki did some stunt when getting from the train... and he fell... did not hurt but we ended up getting lecture for elderly people for the nest 30 mins
3. One more great trip when we were on our way to Mulshi… the drive was amazing… at one stretch it was rainy so heavily that we all had to stop… as we were shivering due to the continues downpour… but those trips are worth…
4. Couple of years back in one such road trip during rainy season… we visited Dhagduseth Ganapati and we continued to some other temple… we again had a small tumble and fall and we all were searching for doctor in the small tiny village

We all guys had great time all this years during the rainy season…

Rainy season is really fun, dodging the pot-holes while driving, the power cuts, the traffic jams, etc etc.... lol
Whatever it may be but I love it
